XCP- A New Nutritional Supplement
There is a new nutritional supplement being talked about and is available in a common and uncommon way. The history of this supplement is that it was noticed as Diamond V Mills company was processing a yeast supplement for animal feed, the workers processing the yeast supplement had much reduced sickness. A continuing investigation revealed that this supplement did reduce the various sickness in people. Since this was produced in an animal feed plant it could not be advertised or described as suitable for human consumption. The company has begun producing a food grade supplement and marketing it for human consumption. The feed grade product is available at animal feed stores. People who have tried XCP feel it is a supplement that is beneficial and plan to continue taking it. A cursory cost comparison between the feed grade product and the food grade product is approximately 1 cent per day if you buy at the feed store and 0.70 cents per day for the food grade product. Some comments of users are: feed grade and food grade may matter to the FDA, but, it dosen't matter to me. It is going to be interesting to see if XCP become widely used.
