It's Never to Late
Writer George Eliot gave us this Quote “It's never too late to be who you might have been” His words are very thought provoking. Remember a few years ago we heard “life begins at 40”?
Now we are starting to hear “80 is just like 60”
Are we as old as we think? Insurance companies are writing insurance policies to mature at age 98.
That's a long time to sit and watch tv-although if we just sit and watch tv we probably will not be around that long When we made our retirement plans did we plan to be around another 40 years? What should we do now? Some of us may need extra income. Only so many of us can be greeters at wal mart. Maybe it's time to do what George Eliot suggests and be who we might have been. We have more time and have acquired skills along the way. We can plan our life. A Dr. John DeMartini told us “What we think about and thank about, we bring about” We have heard the Proverb, “without a vision the people perish”. Let your dreams and goals live again. Remember the road is better than the inn. The essence of life is to have a goal and work toward that goal. Become what you might have been. We will want to re look at our goals and how we define success. No longer do we hold to “he who dies with the most toys wins”. We begin to think that relationships hold greater importance than they once did. We find that lending a helping hand can be extremely gratifying.
